Healing Clay Blends Red Clay Mask | Review

May 2020 was a tough time for my skin. I had the worse case of acne. It was painful, never-ending, and put my confidence in jeopardy. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw how bad my skin was at that point. Ayesha from Healing Clay Blends suggested I try their Red Clay Clarifying Mask. And hopefully, see a difference that most of her clients did. And well, months later, here’s how it went for me.

What it claims:

Made with Indian Red clay, Bentonite, kaolin and tea tree essential oil. This clarifying mask helps control oil production tremendously, purifying pores, and reducing the number of acne breakouts over time, with consistent use.

My thoughts on Healing Clay Blends Red Clay Mask:

True to their claim, this face mask actually worked well for my skin. It calmed my painful acne and with consistent use; I witnessed noticeable improvements. My acne wasn’t recurring as much as it used to. I would like to specify that I followed a whole skincare regime. And to attribute the improvement of my skin solely to this mask isn’t right. However, I cannot forget how effective this clay mask was for my acne. Use it as a spot treatment, although tedious since you’re not supposed to keep it longer than 5 minutes. But it works wonders. For people with dry skin, I will suggest using it with curd. It can be slightly stripping otherwise.

Would I recommend it?

Absolutely! If you’re suffering from acne and want to incorporate a good face mask, this is the one. Not only does it help with acne, but it also controls excessive sebum and makes your skin glow post use. Consistency, however, is the key here.

How to use Healing Clay Blends Red Clay Mask?

Use it twice/thrice a week, on a clean face. You can use water, rose water, milk or even yoghurt to make a paste. Apply it and wash it after five minutes. Do not let the mask dry completely. It can also treat bacne (body acne). Moisturise well.
