Re'Equil Sunscreen for Oily, Sensitive and Acne Prone Skin DEALS
By now you should already know the importance of sunscreen, both indoors and outdoors. Dermats suggest that SPF of 20 or higher is good for people living in India, but it must be reapplied every hour. This gives a higher SPF the advantage of being applied every 3 hours. In brief, SPF prolongs the amount of time you can stay in the sun without getting sunburnt. Belonging to the oily skin squad, it is quite difficult coming across a sunscreen that does not cause breakouts or feel greasy. Re’Equil changed that for me.
Although the brand states that it can keep you protected for 6 hours without reapplication, I personally apply it every 3 hours to be on the safer side.
The brand claims to be non-comedogenic, ultra-light with a matte finish, paraben-free. It also claims to be oxybenzone and OMC free and it does not penetrate deep in the skin. Here’s an article by Re’Equil that you should check out. It elaborates why these ingredients are harmful.
Would I recommend this Re’Equil?
I personally loved using this sunscreen and find myself going back to it every time. It absorbs easily in my skin and at the same time does not make me feel greasy. It leaves a white cast that is momentary, but it’s helpful in understanding which areas you’ve missed.
Tip:
Apply sunscreen 20-30 minutes before leaving your house. This ensures that the sunscreen is working at its optimum. Also apply it liberally on your face, neck, ears, and all the exposed parts. Although SPF’s protect your skin it does not ensure 100% protection, I highly recommend using physical protections like scarves, caps, umbrellas, long sleeves. If you are someone that sweats a lot or you plan on swimming, apply sunscreen every 2 hours.
