Juicy Chemistry Product Review

Juicy Chemistry has received massive adoration from its users in a short span of time. I had the pleasure of trying out some of their products myself. In today’s post, we will talk about their Matcha Kakadu Plum face mask, and their Anti-Acne Soap.

A little background on my skin type, my facial skin is oily. It is prone to acne, rosacea and sensitivity. The skin on my body is normal with small acne on my back, chest and shoulders.

Matcha Kakadu Plum Face Mask

This mask can be mixed with any medium. I prefer using it with homemade curd. The application is smooth and easy. Since I use curd, the mask gives off a very cooling sensation. Upon consistent use, my skin is more radiant and bright. I, however, couldn’t see much difference regarding pigmentation. It is a hydrating mask and helps calm inflamed skin.

If you have acne-prone skin which is sensitive, you will enjoy this face mask. It works great for dull skin. The best part about Matcha Kakadu Plum face mask is that it does not strip off moisture, instead gives you a moisturized and hydrated skin.

Juicy Chemistry Cucumber, Matcha & Spearmint Organic Cold Pressed Soap

This product is meant for both face and body, but I prefer using it as a body soap. This soap cleanses and hydrates my skin. It lathers well and is easy to wash off. It helped me to an extent for my body acne, however; I am yet to see any difference in fading acne marks. Although it did not overly strip my facial skin, it felt slightly stretched. Which is why it works better as a body soap for me.

My Thoughts

My experience with both the Juicy Chemistry products went well. I see myself reaching out for the face mask often. It is relaxing and a perfect accompaniment for a Sunday. Please note that this mask is a powder mask which you can turn into a paste using any medium of your choosing. The face mask retails for INR 975 for 20g, which I find to be a little steep. Especially when you consider the pricing vs quantity. It is also advised to use this mask twice or thrice a week, thus making it quite heavy for one’s pocket. The bar soap retails for INR 550 for 100g, it melts moderately, which again, I find to be a tad bit expensive. My only issue with Juicy Chemistry is its “No Preservatives” claim. Preservatives are good. We need preservatives.
